MCS 2 WAY DAMPER / SHOCK - MIATA ND
The MCS 2-Way damper is far from basic. This damper set features a full 18 clicks of compression adjustment and 18 clicks of rebound adjustment over a wide range, specific to each vehicle’s specific requirements. Remote reservoirs give superior fluid temperature control and are available (or standard depending on application) with quick-release hydraulic lines for easy installation.
These dampers are packed with technical features but with an elegantly clean execution. The monotube design is very stable with more oil capacity and better heat dissipation. Large shafts give extremely high, low-friction side-load support unmatched by shocks inverted and converted for strut applications. The large main piston gives quick, accurate damper response and the divider piston separates oil and gas, eliminating cavitation which often causes noise and sloppiness.
This damper set is beyond the more common coil-over systems on the market. MCS 2-Ways are dependable, repeatable, and easy to work with. Valving covers a wide range of spring rates and eliminates the need to constantly revalve every time you want to increase or decrease your spring rate. Reservoir pressure can be adjusted between 100 – 275 PSI to help support the platform in fast cornering or generate more weight transfer / traction at low velocity.
Dampers are more than just number of adjustments and just click count – the shape of the resulting curves is specifically engineered to give your car the most grip through the range of surface conditions and dynamic inputs your vehicle experiences. 2-Way dampers are available for many popular sports cars.
Standard: Rear dampers designed to be run with flat bearing plates.
SCCA Stock C: Aluminum Spring Perch kit to fit OEM Springs as required in SCCA Stock C optional
Non-Adjustable: A non adjustable version to allow classes do not allow adjustable shocks.
*Dynasty Racing Pro Tip* - We cannot say enough great things about Motion Control Suspension's quality shock program. Recently, we used these shocks to get a very solid 2nd place at the 2018 SCCA Solo National Championships. After the event, we heard many comments about our cars handling, especially in the bumpy sections. Our miata was the most stable and 'non bouncy' of all the C-Street cars! We can attest to their handling and tuning abilities!
